Be part of something better
We set out to make Banksia Grove a remarkably better place to live — with more parkland for your kids to play in, a greater choice of schools and all of the amenities you need.
To achieve this, we knew we needed world-class planning from the start, a strong vision for the future and a smarter approach to our thinking.
The result is that Banksia Grove provides a unique and highly desirable lifestyle that is surprisingly affordable. The opportunity for you is to capitalise on the lifestyle benefits that Banksia Grove offers.
It’s all about better living now and for generations to come
As an important feature of the master-plan, the district centre will be a focal point for the community based around a ‘main street’ principle.
The first stage “Banksia Grove Village” is now open and includes a Coles Supermarket, petrol station, fast food outlets and specialty stores.
Woolworths has confirmed construction will start of a new Woolworths supermarket and a range of specialty stores and food outlets and will be open for Christmas 2017.
ALDI has received Development Approval to construct an ALDI store and assorted retail outlets with plans to open for Christmas 2017.
The District Centre will also provide a range of modern, urban living housing options plus be the site of a proposed local transport hub with a shuttle bus connecting passengers to the northern train line.
Education for all ages
Banksia Grove has a range of education options being home to the Banksia Grove Primary School, St John Paul II Catholic Primary School and the recently opened state of the art Joseph Banks Secondary College. Additionally, two further primary schools are planned.
And once the kids graduate, Edith Cowan University and Joondalup TAFE are only a five-minute drive away. It means your family’s educational needs are met for life. Furthermore, with our fibre to the home broadband Internet connection, researching school projects online has never been faster.
Bushland and parks forever
A big part of our thinking was based on creating a beautiful and sustainable natural environment offering healthy and comfortable living for young and old.
A large area of green parkland runs through the centre of the community. This is the heart and soul of Banksia Grove. Featuring a ‘living’ stream and fountain, walking and cycling trails, Pitstop Park adventure playground for children and even an Amphitheatre, there’s an abundance of recreational opportunities on offer. Not to forget the ‘Bush Forever’ Zone that provides our residents with twice the amount of reserve of other developments to enjoy.
Imagine catching up with friends for a barbeque at the local park while your children explore. Or picture your family strolling by the meandering parkland watercourse to the local amphitheatre for an open-air movie on a warm summer evening.
A better environment
At Banksia Grove, we back up our concern for the environment by the choices we make and our actions within the community.
Like our policy of retaining large areas of natural bushland, which increases the local biodiversity and doesn’t require watering. Or the fact we use the latest irrigation technology incorporating rain sensor controllers to reduce water use on public open space. Even our homesites include a waterwise front garden landscaping package.
Initiatives like these lead to us recently winning the WA Waterwise Land Development award, something we are very proud of.
But protecting our environment doesn’t stop at just water saving. We strongly support efficient energy use in the home too.
With such a focus on the future Banksia Grove is all about better thinking and better living now, and for generations to come.
