Parks and Playgrounds in Banksia Grove

From picturesque parks and walking trails, to fun playgrounds for the kids, there’s plenty of spaces to enjoy the outdoors in Banksia Grove.

Discovery Park

Located at the heart of Banksia Grove, you’ll find the Discovery Park. Loved by the locals, the Discovery Park is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon walk or take the kids for a casual game of sport.

The park features a large amphitheatre area, commonly used for community events and a stunning lake with a shaded seating area.

Connecting the Discovery Park to the Pitstop park is the Mungti Bushland Trail, featuring signage and artwork that celebrates the Aboriginal culture and practices and educates the community on how the bush was traditionally used by the Noongar people.

Pitstop Park

The Pitstop Park is a local favourite, located at the northern end of the discovery park.

The theme of the park is racing and is complete with a racetrack, start and finish posts, road signs and a pitstop to keep track of the scores!    

At the centre of the park, is two large slides, a net bridge, a net climb, a swing set and seesaw.

Banksia Grove Skate Park

The Skate Park, located on the corner of Pinjar Road and Grandis Boulevard, caters to a range of ages and skill levels.

Show off your skating, scooter or BMX skills in the ‘closed flow’ bowl, various jumps, ramps and rails.

Honey Possum Park

Honey Possum Park is the perfect spot to enjoy a walk and the outdoors.

Meander through the bushland on the pathways that run through the park, surrounded by native plants and wildlife.

Echidna Park

Located along Echidna Street, Echidna Park provides plenty of space for the kids to play.

Relax on the shaded picnic tables while the kids run around on the open turfed area or play on the shaded playground, complete with a swing set, slides and seesaws.  

Dragonfly Park

Dragonfly Park is a small nature-based playground, located on the corner of Dragonfly Road and Magpie Way.

The wooden play equipment features balancing posts, climbing net, bridge, balancing beam and a large tripod swing.

There’s plenty of grassed area for kids to run or kick a ball around.
